With over twenty five years of construction experience, Mr. Stackhouse joined CW Construction & Development (CW) in August of 2008.  As the Executive Vice President of Construction, Mr. Stackhouse is responsible for the overall construction strategies and related development opportunities throughout CW’s Southeastern footprint, including Alabama, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Mr. Stackhouse’s diverse background includes but is not limited to executive level expertise in institutional, commercial and mixed-use real estate construction, including multi-family, urban infill, adaptive re-use, retail, hospitality, and warehouse, industrial, medical, resort and special use.  He has sourced and executed projects in a myriad of markets throughout the Southeast.  His resume includes over $800 million of new construction projects. This work includes a Planet Hollywood theme restaurant in Myrtle Beach, SC, Wild Dunes Residential Village, a Mid-Rise condominium project on the Isle of Palms, SC.  Some of his local Charlotte projects have included, The Avenue, a thirty six story High-Rise residential tower, 230 South Tryon, a High-Rise Condominium Conversion, City View Towers, an urban student dormitory and 5th & Poplar, a Mid-Rise residential apartment community.

Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Stackhouse led all construction activities for R.J. Griffin as the SVP and Division Manager of its Urban Division.  As Division Manager, Mr. Stackhouse was responsible for new construction of multi-family projects throughout the Southeast and included more than 2800 units. In addition to his operation duties Grant managed all marketing, sales, estimating, recruiting, and training for the division producing in excess of $100 million annually.

Mr. Stackhouse completed JE Dunn Construction’s Senior Leadership training program.  This MBA program is designed for senior managers who are directly responsible for the company’s vision and direction.
